EDITORS COMMENTS
The print captures the majestic HMS Torbay, a Royal Navy submarine, gliding effortlessly on the surface during Exercise Deep Blue. As this formidable vessel enters its 25th year of service, it continues to assert its dominance in the maritime realm. Equipped with an unparalleled sonar suite that acts as her keen ears, HMS Torbay possesses such sensitivity that she can detect vessels from over 50 miles away. This illustrious name has a rich history dating back centuries. The first HMS Torbay was launched in 1693 to commemorate William of Orange's momentous landing at Torbay in 1688.
