HMS Cumberland, a Batch 3 Type 22 frigate, stands as a testament to British naval engineering prowess. Commissioned in June 1989 after being built by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd on the Clyde, this formidable vessel has since embarked on numerous global deployments. Its rich history is adorned with four battle honours earned during World War Two for its valiant contributions in North Africa, the Arctic, Sabang, and Burma.
