Chinese Warships Visit Portsmouth
Three Chinese Warships arrived into Portsmouth where they were welcomed by large crowds. The Chinese Ambassador Mr Xiaoming Liu and Defence Attach Maj Gen Yao Min greeted the ships and visited the Landing Platform Ship PLA Navy Ship, Chang Bai Shan.
The Royal Marines Band performed to members of the Chinese community from all around the UK before the ships was open for tours. The senior Naval Officer was Rear Admiral Clive Johnstone ACNS Policy who was greeted on the jetty by PLA Navy Ship, Chang Bai Shans Commanding Officer Rear Admiral Zhang Chuansha
